DESCRIPTION:
Created in 1970 after the National Football League (NFL) and American Football League (AFL) became one, the American Football Conference (AFC) Championship Game, or AFC Title Game, determines which team from the American AFC will play in the Super Bowl against the winner of the National Football Conference (NFC) Championship Game.
The Super Bowl, played between the top team in the AFC and the top team in the NFC. It is the final professional football contest of the year. The winner is considered the World Champion.
