Non-profit My Stuff Bags created National Mend a Broken Heart month to call attention to children who have been abused and neglected. Often these children must be removed from their homes and end up in foster care or within the system. During National Mend a Broken Heart month people are encouraged to volunteer at their local shelters, support mental health and safety programs for the kids and find out more about what you can do in person or through donations to support these at-risk children find love again.
