National School Counseling Week, sponsored by ASCA, highlights the impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
School counselors deal with many issues from bullying to collegiate planning. For many children school counselors are the only adult they can trust and a safe haven from a dangerous environment. This is a week to honor their work and educate the public and students about the role student counselors
