DESCRIPTION:
Created in 2017, Loneliness Awareness Week in the United Kingdom focuses on the importance of building awareness about loneliness's impact on the people around us. Anyone can be lonely, and everyone feels lonely at some point, and the pandemic has exasperated the situation for many. This week is about reaching out to friends and neighbors and raising awareness about loneliness and its impact on quality of life, health, and the community.
At LEEP, this has to be our favorite event champion name, "Marmalade Trust." How cute is that? And it is so fun to say!
