DESCRIPTION:
Curlew Day is when the beautiful, slender birds called curlew return to the Umatilla National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon.
Over the next few months, they’ll mate, nest, raise families and migrate.
Curlew Day is the day to see them return from their winter migration. Special tours and events occur at the wildlife refuge.
