DESCRIPTION:
Iced Tea Day corresponds with the start of summer. Although iced tea was already known as early as the 18th century, its popularity rose when Richard Blechynden, a plantation owner, decided to replace his hot tea servings with cold ones during the St. Louis World Fair.
This Fair would be the origin of at least two American favorites, iced tea, and the ice cream cone.
