About National Cheerleading Week

DESCRIPTION:
Linda Lundy founded National Cheerleading Week in 2005 with a vision to bring awareness of and acknowledge today's cheer athletes' hard work and dedication.
Every year, the first week in March is designated National Cheerleading Week and recognizes cheerleading athletes worldwide. The goal is to build a more positive image of cheerleading by engaging in group activities, community service, and fundraising projects.
