DESCRIPTION:
Celebrating the history of African American ballroom dancing originated in this nation’s urban areas. Urban ballroom dancing includes Detroit Ballrooming, Chicago Stepping, Hand-dancing, Bop, Latin Hustle, Two-step, Swing, and other partner dancing styles. National Urban Ballroom Dance Day first ran in 2011. Annually on the second Saturday in March.
