DESCRIPTION:
Ten-Four is radio lingo for "I got it," "Good to go," or "Affirmative." It is part of the APCO Project 14 Aural Brevity Code developed for citizen radio operators between 1937 and 1939. These calls were used by civil servants, Hamm, and CB radio users until 2006, when the US government opted for plain language.
Today is a play on numbers. The month of October = is 10, and today is the fourth day.
