DESCRIPTION:
October 9, 1446, King Sejong (Yi Dynasty) created the 24-character phonetic alphabet of Korea called Hangul. It allowed people speaking other languages to write out the sounds of the words represented by characters in Korean, making it easier to communicate with different cultures and learn how to speak Korean.
