DESCRIPTION:
The Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games are the winter games for youth. Sponsored by the International Olympic Committee, this event engages youth in competitive sports, cultural and educational programs.
Similar to the Summer Olympics, the Youth Olympic Games also follows a four-year cycle. Participated in by 206 countries with representatives aging from 15 to 18, these young athletes will compete in 31 different disciplines.
Lionel Messi is the ambassador for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
