About National Prematurity Awareness Month

DESCRIPTION:
Prematurity Awareness Month is sponsored by the March of Dimes and addresses the issues leading to premature birth and its prevention. The campaign begins each year kicks off with the announcement of the Premature Birth Report Card. Throughout the country health care providers offer prenatal services and screenings. Premature is considered any birth prior to 37 weeks.
