Naraka Chaturdashi (Naraka Nivaran Chaturdashi ) is a Hindu holiday, which falls on the second day of the five-day festival Diwali.
In Hindu mythology teaches that the asura (demon) Narakasura was killed on this day by Krishna and Kali. The day is celebrated by an early morning religious rituals and festivities.
