About National Parental Involvement Day

DESCRIPTION:
National Parental Involvement Day is a promotion that encourages parents and family members to become more involved in the education of children. It falls on the third Thursday in November.
During this day, parents and guardians volunteer at the school or pledge a few minutes of their time to help with homework. Sponsored by Project Appleseed, the promotion aims to help low-income families access better Internet access, materials and to help parents communicate effectively with their children.
