About Oropharyngeal Cancer Awareness Day

DESCRIPTION:
HPV Awareness Week in 2019 and have set aside one day to focus on Oropharyngeal Cancer, or cancer of the oropharynx. Typical causes include smoking or contracting the human papilloma virus. Its most notable symptom is a lump in the neck accompanied by a sore throat.
The goal of the initiative was to increase public and practitioner awareness of HPV, HPV-related diseases, and the importance of HPV vaccination.
