About the Hindu Day of Kamika Ekadashi

In the Hindu religion, Ekadashi are important holy days. There are two Ekadashi each month.
Kamika Ekadeshi is associated with Lord Krishna (an incarnation of Lord Vishnu). It is believed that whomever observes Kamika Ekadashi will bypass reincarnation and go straight to heaven. The Tulsi plant plays a major role in this day's worship. Simply looking at the Tulsi on Kamika Ekadashi removes all sins. Touching it and praying to it is believed to remove disease.
