Did you know that 14.5% of the total greenhouse gas emissions are caused by livestock, causing deforestation and climate change over time? The supply of fish in the oceans is also diminishing. Vegan and Vegetarian groups believe if people shifted to the lower-meat diet, there would is fewer deaths caused by poor food choices and the damage to the environment would be reduced.
