DESCRIPTION:
National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day occurs each year on the Thursday in Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week. This promotion seeks to raise awareness about the importance of children’s mental health and demonstrate that positive mental health is essential to a child’s healthy development from birth.
This is a nationwide event which occurs on a local level. The date may vary from state-to-state and city-to-city. Though nationally declared, state governors and city mayors may declare their region’s awareness day on a different date.
