DESCRIPTION:
National Craniofacial Acceptance Month acknowledges and respects people with craniofacial defects such as cleft palate, lip, and other issues.
Annually 2,500 babies in the U.S. are born with a cleft palate, and 4,500 have a cleft lip.
This month raises awareness and increases the acceptance of people with craniofacial issues.
