Diabetes Australia Walk to Work Day is an annual event initiated in 1997. It encourages employees and employers to build walking into their everyday lives.
Walking meetings, walking to and from work, taking a walk at lunchtime, or using the stairs instead of the escalator or elevator are just some ways to start. Funds raised from the event support Diabetes Australia.
