Created in 2016, National Energy Efficiency Day or EEDay occurs during Energy Action Month, October, each year. It is a United States and Canadian event supported by multiple groups, including American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), Advanced Energy Economy, Alliance to Save Energy, Natural Resources Defense Council, and the Regional Energy Efficiency Organizations, to name a few. The US Congress officially recognizes the day.
