About the Hindu Day of Utpanna Ekadashi

DESCRIPTION:
Ekadashi occurs twice a month, each with a different name and significance in its worship of Lord Vishnu.
Utpanna or Utpatti Ekadashi falls on the waning moon (Krishan Paksha) fortnight of the Hindu month of Magha. Observance of this vrat removes sins committed during previous and present births (Hindus believe in past lives and reincarnation) via the worship of Lord Vishnu.
