About Craft for Your Local Shelters Day

DESCRIPTION:
Created in 2012 by Sew Doggy Style's Erika Lindquist to raise funds for local shelters. The event began as a tribute to her rescue dog Sebastian. Participating crafters throughout the United States create crafts that provide comfort, help animals find forever homes, and raise money for the shelters protecting them. Craft ideas include:
Adopt Me Bandanas
Fleece Tug Ropes
Doggie and Kitty Cuddle Blankets
T-shirt Beds
DIY Wubba Toys
Cat Bats (for cats to bat about)
Feather Sticks
