About Healthy Bones Action Week

DESCRIPTION:
Healthy Bone Action Week is an annual awareness campaign in Australia sponsored by Dairy Australia. Its purpose is to encourage positive health practices that support bone health and mitigate the risk of osteoporosis. Each day during the week, people are encouraged to:
Do 20 minutes of weight-bearing exercise
Get out in the sun each day
Eat calcium-rich foods like milk, cheese, and yogurt.
Bones are the body’s frame, and keeping them healthy is essential to leading a full life.
