About National Brain Tumor Action Month

DESCRIPTION:
Promoted by the National Brain Tumor Society, Brain Tumor Action Month raises awareness about brain tumors and provides the means for treatment, support and early detection.
Annually, brain tumors are discovered in nearly 200,000 Americans.
Particularly in children, a brain tumor is considered the most deadly type of cancer. Within 20-39 year olds, brain tumors represent the third most dangerous cancer.
