Created by Vincent Coyle of Northern Ireland, National Day of Reconciliation encourages people to unite and be part of the solution through reconciliation. Efforts to promote reconciliation embrace social and financial inclusion, an unending pursuit of truth with justice for all, and respect for the worth of all human beings regardless of race, sex, or faith.
Every day some people need help to reconcile with their past, with family and friends. Countries need support to help their citizens during war and national disasters worldwide. These are all things that can be prevented and helped through reconciliation with truth and justice.
