DESCRIPTION:
National Pediatric Transplant Week entered the calendar in 2021 as Blue and Green Spirit Week. This event seeks to raise awareness of the importance of organ, eye, and tissue transplantation and donation, specifically for children.
Today the public is encouraged to wear blue and green, hold events and fundraisers, and partner with local restaurants, malls, media, and community organizations to raise awareness.
