DESCRIPTION:
World Hereditary Angioedema Awareness Day (HAE Day) seeks to raise awareness of HAE with the public and medical specialists. Angioedema is a blood disorder that causes people to swell up to three or four times their natural size in their limbs, face, internal organs, and genitals.
The event raises awareness and helps medical personnel better identify the disorder and treat those with it.
