Can you go 24 hours without using fossil fuels? Created in 2008, Zero Emissions Day is your chance to find out each year. Here's what you do:
1. Don't use or burn oil or gas, or coal.
2. Minimize (or eliminate) your use of electricity generated by fossil fuels.
3. Don't put anyone in harm's way.
4. Do your best, have fun, and enjoy the day!
