DESCRIPTION:
Founded in 1999, the North American Wife Carrying Championships originate from the Finnish games, which began in 1991. For spectators, this 278-yard race of men carrying their wives through various obstacles is quite a spectacle and a good time for all. This race determines the winner for the US and Canada.
