DESCRIPTION:
The Italian Grand Prix is a Formula One event at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza near Milan, Italy, since 1950, making it one of the oldest and most prestigious races on the Formula One calendar.
The Autodromo Nazionale di Monza is a high-speed circuit with long straights and tight chicanes, which provide a unique challenge to drivers and teams.
The course is 5.793 km (3.6 miles) long and features 11 turns, with the top speeds reaching 360 km/h (224 mph) in the straights.
Some of the most successful drivers in Formula One history have won the Italian Grand Prix, including Michael Schumacher, Juan Manuel Fangio, and Ayrton Senna. Michael Schumacher holds the record for the most wins at the Italian Grand Prix at five.
