About National Epilepsy Week

DESCRIPTION:
National Epilepsy Week seeks to open the conversation and remove the stigma and fear of discussing and having epilepsy. One in five persons with epilepsy in the United Kingdom is uncomfortable speaking with their friends and family about their condition.
This week encourages people to understand the disorder and supports the fight against the misconceptions, discrimination, and isolation facing those who live with epilepsy.
Support techniques and tools are also provided for caregivers of persons with epilepsy.
