DESCRIPTION:
First held in 1959, the Castroville Artichoke Food & Wine Festival is a two-day event held at the Monterey County Fairgrounds celebrating the artichoke and other foods and products from California: live music, wine tasting, and dozens of activities for children. Annually in late spring, Castorville is considered the Artichoke Capital of the World.
