DESCRIPTION:
During Prohibition, Chef Caesar Cardini invented the Caesar Salad at his restaurant Ceasar's, located in Hollywood, California. Of Mexican and Italian ancestry, he chose America as his home in the early 1920s. The salad is known for its distinctive dressing, which uses raw egg, lemon juice, Worcestershire Sauce, mustard, and other ingredients. In 1948 he trademarked it.
Caesar Salad is one of the most popular salads in the world.
