DESCRIPTION:
Hans Riegel invented the Gummi Bear in Germany in 1922.
In 1981 Trolli took the idea of the Gummi Bear and molded the jelly confection into worms. The idea was that children would love to wig out their parents by eating worms. It was a brilliant marketing ploy that children continue to eat up today.
