Raindance Film Festival is the largest independent film festival in the UK, that Variety recognizes as "one of the world's top 50 unmissable film festivals".
Raindance showcases the boldest entries of British and international filmmakers. It is a qualifying festival for Oscars®, BAFTA, and BIFA.
Founded in 1992, the Raindance Film Festival combines film training courses and higher education with awards and showings. Workshops cover screenwriting, production, directing, and virtual reality in addition to three fully accredited higher education film programs. It is the only major film festival in the world to offer accredited higher education.
