With the holiday season approaching, also the busiest time of the year for postal workers in Christian and Jewish majority countries, Mexico takes a day to thank their postal carriers by leaving gifts (usually money) in their mailbox on Día del Cartero, Letter Carriers Day or Postman's Day.
