About Paws to Read Month

DESCRIPTION:
Focusing on therapy dogs and cats and the benefits children (and the animals) receive when children read aloud to them. Studies show a child's confidence, comprehension, concentration, and reading level significantly improve with regular reading to animals. Paws to Read Month is designed to raise awareness of animal/children reading programs and help more communities create them.
