DESCRIPTION:
World Tuberculosis Day seeks the eradication of one of the world’s deadliest diseases, tuberculosis (TB).
An epidemic in many developing countries, TB kills nearly one-and-a-half million people each year. March 24 is the anniversary of the day in 1882 when Dr. Robert Koch discovered the cause of tuberculosis, TB bacillus, and stunned the scientific community.
