October is the National Sensory Awareness Month in the United States.
This month-long nationwide awareness campaign is supported by several organizations. It aims to increase understanding in relation to Sensory Processing Disorder and other sensory-related problems and diseases, as well as provide services to those suffering and their caregivers.
