Today is National Nothing Day.
Proposed in 1972 by San Francisco Examiner columnist Harold Pullman Coffin, it is the day to provide Americans with one National day when they can just sit without celebrating, observing or honoring anything. In other words, it is a day when it is perfectly okay to do absolutely nothing today!
