About the Hindu Day of Pushya (Paush) Purnima

DESCRIPTION:
Paush Purnima, the day of the full moon within the Hindu month of Paush and it has a great significance to the faithful. On this day, people bathe in holy rivers including the Ganga and pray to Ganga to rid of their sins. A holy dip at Allahabad (Prayag) is considered to liberate the soul from continuous cycle of death and birth
