If you live in Oceania or the Americas and are not a member of the indigenous population, you or your ancestors were once immigrants. Canada was built on its immigrants' dreams, aspirations, blood, sweat, and tears. Each year Canada sets aside this day, Canadian Immigrants' Day, to celebrate their contributions to Canadian society and open discussion on immigration policy and law.
