Stroke is a leading cause of death and disability, accounting for one in ten deaths. A stroke can happen to anyone at any time. World Stroke Day urges people to learn the critical warning signs of a stroke, including:
Double vision and blurriness
Numbness in one or more limb for more than a minute or two
Slurred speech
Difficulty walking
Loss of balance
Foggy, tired feeling
Severe headache
Hallucinations
Change in personality
