On March 13, 1961 Mattel introduced the Ken Carson doll. Ken is the boyfriend of Barbie. He is known to be fashionable and with many occupations.
In 2017 the Ken Doll received a major makeover with six new Ken dolls reflecting multiple races and lifestyles.
