Each year since 1983, the world marks World Consumer Rights Day marking the anniversary in 1962 when President John F Kennedy addressed the issue of consumer rights in front of the US Congress.
Despite where you are in the world, all consumers should be respected and protected against market abuses and the social injustices undermining their rights.
