DESCRIPTION:
World Day of Theatre for Children and Young People is promoted by the International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People. It is the first event day of the newly organized (2017) World Performance Week.
This day encourages parents to enroll their children into theatre groups, as well as students and other young people to give theatre a try. As one of the oldest and most beautiful art forms, performance art has a magical aura that no other possesses.
