Whimsical warm socks, cheesy popcorn, toiletries and a funny note of support and encouragement, this is what a Cheesy Sock Day care package includes. Its purpose is to raise awareness of the plight of homeless, unaccompanied minors and children in foster care, many of whom lack the most basic necessities (like warm, clean socks), to make it through the winter.
