DESCRIPTION:
Greyhounds are sporting dogs, but what happens after racing? Many find themselves homeless, and that is where you can help. There's a greater need to place ex-racing greyhounds into permanent homes than at any point in recent history due to past and pending greyhound racing track closings across the country.
National Adopt-a-Greyhound Month is the perfect time to adopt one of these gentle companions. Thousands of greyhounds are being cared for by adoption groups as they await adoption. Visit thegreyhoundproject.org for information on how to adopt a greyhound in your area.
