Plan Your Epitaph Day and Write Your Epitaph Day occur in the spring and fall. In the fall, it coincides with the Day of the Dead and compliments the Chinese Tomb Sweeping Festival (Qingming Festival) in the spring.
These days are about how people will remember you after you’re gone. An epitaph is the last thing people will hear about you. , and writing it is not as easy as it sounds.
Additionally, Plan Your Epitaph Day is about legal housekeeping, reviewing and updating your will if necessary, looking into burial insurance, and ensuring you don’t leave your loved ones undue burden.
While these aren’t days you celebrate, they are days that can make a difference. Be bold. Plan your epitaph today.
